Opening A Bank Account In Thailand

Opening a bank account in Thailand is very simple. The process and the necessary documentation may be different from bank to bank. Some banks may require only a passport with a valid visa and an address in Thailand.

Other banks may require a valid passport with valid visa, work permit and maybe even a letter of recommendation from your Embassy. Check with different banks to see if they will let you open a bank account with the documentation you have.
