Can you can spend 550 Baht? Then I would suggest you start with Apex Hotel. The reason I suggest the Apex Hotel is because of its central location. If you are just arriving from the airport you may want to kick back in an Air Con room for a while.

If they don't have a room available, ask if you can leave your gear at the reception, so you can explore Pattaya. You will find small hotels and Pattaya Guesthouses just about anywhere in the vicinity of the Apex Hotel.

There is a very nice clean Place is on 3rd Road across from Xcyte disco. It's called Silver Place. Very nice, clean, great service, safe and prices vary depending on which floor you stay on and whether you are in Pattaya during high or low season. No elevator. 400-850 Baht.
