Pattaya Thailand hotel close to the beach

We want to return to Pattaya. I know that there are good deals to be had now. Can you recommend a hotel around 700-1000 per night with a swimming pool near the beach. Also I was at a really good fish restaurant. I was at one in Pattaya before, there were a lot of Thais there, which is a good sign for the restaurant.

Pattaya Bay Resort may be a hotel you might like. In Low Season which starts April 15 they charge 999 Baht for a standard room.

Pattaya Bay Resort has a central location in Pattaya. The hotel is located on Soi 15 at Second Road, just minutes from the beach, Walking Street and all the major entertainment areas.

The Hotel is directly behind "The Avenue", one of Pattaya's newest shopping complexes which provides their guests with 24-hour access to Second Road via a short walk through the mall.

The hotel entrance is just off of Second Road at Soi 15, across the street from Soi Pattayaland 2. I am not sure if that is close enough to the beach for you.

They also offer a taxi to Pattaya service for 1300 Baht which is a decent price.
