Thailand and Thai Art

There are great Artists and Thai art in Thailand. Thai people are so skilled and they are such enthusiastic artists. I love shopping for art in Chiang Mai at the night market or in shops.

Every year I send a small container full of art like paintings and wood carvings home. When the container arrives at home after 2-3 months it is always like Christmas for me. I give most of it to family and friends but always keep some special items for my own home.

Thailand is a great country to visit and I visit 2-3 times a year mostly to Bangkok, Pattaya, and Chiang Mai. This year I am planning on going up to Chiang Rai and maybe even Pai. Attached is a picture of a wood carving I purchased last December in Chiang Mai. I love the Thai people in the north of Thailand. They are so friendly.
