Why Thailand? Why Pattaya?

I love Thailand, and Pattaya, and can share what I know about it with visitors who come to visit my Web Site and I am learning more about my favorite country while building my Web Site. I enjoy the people, the culture, the food and the lifestyle I can lead in Thailand - Pattaya.

I spent about 6 years of my life in Thailand so far. The first Time I arrived in Bangkok was in 1979. Thailand was, in many aspects, a lot different back then. Many things have changed and the western influence is noticeable in particular in the Cities.

Rural Life in Thailand has not changed much but places like Pattaya, Bangkok, Phuket and Chiang Mai etc. have changed tremendously. Western influence through tourism and Western TV/Media have a great impact. Nonetheless it is a great place to live or to visit!

Retirement is to put a second set of tires on a vehicle and I am not someone who can do absolutely nothing. I love to travel and building a web site allows me to share things with people that I hope will help them when visiting Thailand and Pattaya, while I can do something I enjoy.

While Living A Mobile Lifestyle

The biggest challenge people like me face is 'how to make a living' while living a mobile lifestyle. Ideally it would be something that will work when you don't. It doesn't take big mental acrobatics to realize that the internet is the perfect medium. It is open 24 hours 7 days a week.

It is NOT easy to make money online and it is a lot of work. An internet based business is like any other business. It requires motivation, determination and hard work but it does allow someone the freedom to work when, how and where. In my humble opinion, it is a worthwhile effort.
