So naturally, you think that Pattaya real estate would be impossibly pricey! Wrong!

Pattaya offers breathtaking oceanfront Condos for a fraction of the price that you would pay in other parts of the world.

Pattaya is aimed at the high end and lower end of property or condo hunters.

One small detail, though. Only condos can be owned by foreigners. Thais Only! But, hey, that's ok! It puts some fun into hunting for Pattaya realty. There are of course ways around this which will be explained later.

Hunting for your dream condo, house or apartment in Pattaya is the same process than anywhere else. It's just a lot more fun in Pattaya than anywhere else.

Explore Pattaya and find the area you like. Do your 'homework' and research the area you want to live in.

Talk to other Expats who live in the same area and make sure it is suitable for your needs. One major concern can be noise.

Thai people seem to have a build-in noise reducer since they don't seem to mind. Make sure when you narrow down on an area that you re-visit the area during different times of the day and night. If you plan on retiring in Pattaya this becomes even more important.

A good start is to rent for 6 months to a year and get to know Pattaya and other people who live here.
