Easy Thai Peanut Sauce Recipe
Here is a Thai peanut sauce recipe of an authentic and easy to prepare peanut sauce which has a fantastic real Thai taste.
If you follow the recipe on this page you get a sauce that is spicy and will make a wonderful dipping sauce for beef, chicken, shrimp, spring rolls etc. Some people like to reduce the amount of peanut butter and/or add more coconut milk.
Ingredients Needed For This Fabulous Sauce
- 3/4 cups creamy or smooth peanut butter
- 1/2 tablespoon minced fresh ginger root
- 2 medium sized cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1/2 tablespoon red Thai curry paste
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh water
- 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
If you only have crunchy peanut butter you may want to put it all into a food processor. Double the amounts of the recipe and you can freeze the leftover if you like.
Directions
Grab a large bowl and a mixing utensil and mix the peanut butter, water, fish sauce, red Thai curry paste, ginger, cilantro, lime juice, soy sauce, coconut milk, and garlic.
